INDIBA THERAPY

Indiba therapy: A non-invasive therapy which enhances recovery of acute/chronic conditions with a unique radiofrequency of 448kHz wavelength suitable for acute/chronic muscle injuries, joint pain and bone injuries, by boosting collagen production, stimulating stem cell proliferation and differentiation.

LASER THERAPY

Thorough palpation, range of motion, spinal and neurological assessments assessing tone, texture, temperature and tenderness.
Laser therapy(photobiomodulation): A beam of monochromatic coherent radiation which involves an increase of ATP in the mitochondria which is vital for cellular healing. Reestablishing the sodium potassium pump, laser therapy modulates the proper concentrations of ions inside/outside the cell. An effective treatment used for targeting trigger points and wound healing.

PEMFT

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMFT)
A low-level electromagnetic field which reestablishes cellular voltage by the movement of ions through plasma membrane and organelles. This leads to calcium to calmodulin binding pathways related to metabolism, inflammation and damaged tissues. Proinflammatory factors, the release of growth factors and tissue regeneration aids bone healing and reduces pain.

Global effects of electrotherapies

Protein synthesis, release of cell condense, local blood flow, vascular permeability, collagen profile alignment, enhanced blood flow and circulation, reduced pain, increased extensibility and flexibility of musculature and joints, improved range of motion and stride, better performance and less chance of re-injury.

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound: A longitudinal wave consisting of areas of compression and rarefaction. Creating oscillation by mechanical disturbance of pressure waves leads to stable cavitation and acoustic streaming. Resulting in sodium ion permeability altered, protein synthesis and cellular secretions. Effects on healing involve inflammation, proliferation, remodelling and collagen alignment.

WELVUE THERMAL IMAGING

Full static & dynamic assessments of cranial, lateral and caudal views assessing posture and gait.
Welvue thermal imaging: Effectively shows a visual of pet alignment which would benefit from further diagnostics. Thermal imaging allows screening of alignment compiling and analysing electromagnetic energy emitted from the patient highlighting areas of inflammation. Suitable for acute and chronic injuries and underlying conditions e.g. osteoarthritis.

HEAT

Heat:Thermoreceptors via c fibres allow the release of bradykinin resulting in vasodilation. Having an increase in blood flow and nutrients in a targeted area leads to osmosis causing cellular upregulation and increases the firing rate of type II muscle spindles and Golgi tendon. Heat reduces substance P reducing pain signals and releases pain endorphins such as serotonin. Suitable for targeting muscle hypertonicity, hypotonicity and atrophy.

CRYOTHERAPHY

Cryotherapy: Creates vasoconstriction due to norepinephrine being released and decreased blood flow reducing pain and pressure on nociceptors and firing of thermoreceptors. Cooling of tissue reduces enzymatic effects in the inflammatory process reducing the level of histamine release. Muscle spindle receptors fire more slowly when cooled, decreasing muscle spasm. Most effective 72 hours after acute injuries e.g., muscle tear. In chronic conditions such as arthritis it reduces pain, edema, reduces inflammatory mediators, synovial inflammation and joint destruction.
